Weekend Happenings
Happy weekend folks. This weekend I’m wearing this MM6 Maison Margiela top from Rent the Runway paired with these H&M shorts that I’ve had for years now (even if H&M has been greenwashing, this lady has been making the most out of her H&M buys). Take this outfit from day with these Tevas and baseball cap for your farmer’s market shopping and morning coffee run. Then wear it in the evening with the Dakota Triangle Crown felt hat and Nisolo heels for dinner with friends. You can also reverse them, starting with the felt hat and heels for Sunday brunch and finish off your weekend with an evening stroll in the park with the Tevas and cap. I love when an outfit has full range!
My other plans for the weekend are:
To bake this New York Times Red Velvet Cake for a late and simple 13th wedding anniversary celebration.
Watch Silence on Amazon Prime because I’m on an Andrew-Garfield-playing-religious-characters kick. Also, why not delve into a Christianity and colonial themed movie on the Sabbath?
Scanning old family photos because I’ve been needing to digitize the photo album Inay put together since my baby years in the Philippines for years now. I’m on a search to understand my immigrate story and now that I finally have a good scanner an “rigorous search” can begin. Name that movie.
There’s nothing better than a simple and chill weekend. What simple things do you like to fill your weekend with?
