Farmer's Market Haul
This morning, after doing yoga, the kids and I headed over to the farmer’s market. We’ve been waiting for good weather to grab some peaches and after three thwarted attempts, we woke up to sunshine and immediately headed out the door lest we miss the opportunity due to another swift summer storm.
Creativity, Stress, and Mindfulness
The past couple of weeks had me anxious for the future, wondering what the point was in putting together pitch decks. Then there’s the worry of not wanting to appear insensitive to what’s going on globally. I was ready to jump on board with the sunflower and yellow and blue illustrations to sell for charity.
A Space to Be Alone
Let’s talk about alone time. This Summer we escaped to the mountains and in seeking out a place where we can recenter, it allowed me to see that there are various ways to be alone; alone time for yourself, alone time as a couple, and alone time as a family. All with the purpose to reconnect.
Sundays in the Park
To say it was a tough year doesn’t even come close, but we’ve found a space where we can give ourselves a break from the burden of this crazy year.
